Currently, Facebook allows you to get away from the social network temporary by deactivating the account. It will still keep you things and you can re-enable the account whenever you want. Report said Facebook will be adding the “delete account” option that will completely remove yourself and related information from the most popular social network. It will take 14 days to finish the process. It may due to the time required to remove all the photos and things from the server.
This is confirmed by Facebook representatives. Only small amount of people would got the “delete account” button.
