Although the current performance of MacBook Air is acceptable, the Intel Core 2 Duo processor is pretty outdated. Source claimed Apple will update the MacBook air with newer Intel Sandy Bridge processor in June. Sandy Bridge could be referred as the second generation Intel Core Processor.
Earlier rumors said MacBook Pros will also get updated in March. So, for those who are looking for buying Macs, they should probably wait.
